How To Spy On A Cell Phone

cell phone spyAre you a Kardashian fan? If so, then you know that Kylie’s peeps just hired a private investigator to keep track of Tyga. There was reason to believe that he was tipping out on Kylie. So the clan got together to check it out.

Have you ever been in that situation? Hearing rumors about your significant other? You think that the only way you’ll believe it is with hard evidence. You don’t want to get busted, so you consider ways to gather intel. You look into other options like hiring your own PI.

Well if your bank books aren’t fat like the Kardashian’s, hiring a PI might just be out of your budget. Maybe you need to do a DIY job. If so, skip the tech store and pawn shop buys. PI equipment will add up. You ask yourself, short of the old-fashioned ways such as drive-bys and stalking, how can you get it done?

Your cell phone of course! I once had a gentleman tell me that he can run his entire business from his smartphone. You can use it to run your DIY PI work as well. Between instant messaging, photos, videos, documents, emails, etc., there is a world of information at your fingertips right on your cell phone.

Review Cell Phone Info

There are several ways to approach your PI work. For starters, get a hold of the device of the person in question. Review the mobile phone and text message logs. Your regular cell phone user has tons of information saved in their phone. If by chance the logs are blank, that is a dead giveaway that something is amiss (unless the person in question is over 70, they likely delete everything).

Spying with Snail Mail

If that doesn’t work, check the mail.   Depending on the service provider, you may be able to find a log of all the calls that have been made throughout the billing period. If any don’t look familiar, they may be suspect. You could always call or text for further information. I would use a ghost number though. (The same can be achieved by reviewing the online account–you will need a passcode.)

Mobile Photos Don’t Lie

If you haven’t noticed, narcissism has become fashionable. People use their cell phones to document everything that they do. Take a sneak peak at the photo gallery. Photos contain dates, times and (sometimes) location stamps. If you have techy skills and a calendar, you can develop a timeline of activities that will show you where your person has been.

Cell Phone Spying Software:

If the aforementioned options won’t work, try cell phone spying software. With this techy option, you will need to have physical access to the phone. However, rather than checking regularly, you will only need access to the phone once. With most options, you access the phone, download the software, install it and begin to monitor remotely on your own cell phone, tablet or computer.

There’s an App for That:

If all else fails, there is an app for that. That’s right, there are apps on the market available for both android and iPhone that will allow you to secure information from a target’s cell phone. The most common information that you can extract includes phone logs, text messages, location and view internet browser histories. On top of that, some apps allow you to (wait for it) take photos with the target’s phone.

So let’s recap… You can be a DIY PI. You can choose both high tech and low tech options. Either way, phone records, text message transcripts and access to other incriminating information is literally at the tip of your fingertips with either cell phone spying software or the methods mentioned above.
